Old Website
The old website was a simple one pager with links to PDF menus. The site was heavy in stock images and was not at all compatible with mobile. The customer still needed to contact the store to clarify various things before committing to order.
new website
The new Shopify site has provided a great “set and forget” style method of e-commerce for Lipscombe. The site load is much faster, fewer clicks to actions and provide me with great sales and browsing metrics.
Additional functionality has been added beyond the Shopify out of the box soloution - third party app integrations for digital marketing email campaigns, date and time picker for precise pickup times, free text options to allow the customer to add a custom plaque on cakes among others.
